Lamia M. Berrada is a Moroccan painter who lives and
works in her hometown of Casablanca, Morocco.
She is a woman eager for freedom in every way, spiritual
and material, and defines herself as an observer of cultural shifts
Through her work, Lamia condemns, from collection to
collection, the liberticidal conceptions, whether they are
those reducing the woman to an object of desire, to those
limiting the free movements of human beings, and confining cultures to man-made a priori.
Lamia began painting in 2017 and has since participated
in group exhibitions in Morocco and the United States,
New York in 2019 and Chicago in 2020.
